Geico® Holiday Lights Gecko Activation + GLOW Holiday Festival




Objective/Goal:
Integrate (3) GEICO® Geckos at a place of fun where clever social engagement would occur and provide lead generation. Guests had the opportunity to win a $250 Visa card via QR code at each display.
Program Details:
- Created iconic Geico Geckos in winter scenes where children and adults could find them within the GLOW footprint
- Once found a photo capture was needed and placed on social media to possibly win a $250 Visa card
- Provided and integrated program where lead generation occurred and was pushed to the local Geico managers
- A video of a young GLOW attendee was captured and used on a national commercial stating; “Look Mommy, it’s the Geico Gecko in the wintertime!”
Results:
- Branded over 135K who walked through the (3) areas which Geico Geckos where placed
- Approximately 26K photos and videos were uploaded and place on social platforms which far exceeded the ROI GEICO was expecting #GEICO, #GLOWGEICO, #GEICOGLOWMN, #GEICOWINTER
